We are currently looking for a Supervisor Engineer to support the Germany team – willing to travel and work within all of Germany.
resident quality engineer with automotive & manufacturing experience that can confidently oversee a suppliers general operations.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Direction of quality control, mostly for the automotive or electronics industry
- Approves incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials for re-work
- Keeps measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions; calling for repairs
- Accomplishes quality and organization mission by completing related results as needed
- Establish efficient communication between supplier and customer production sites
- Handle customer quality topics (requirements, claims, invoices, Go&See in case of claim) during the mass production phase
- Collect rejected parts, perform pre-investigation (took pictures, parts information &condition, ..), issue early rejection report if applicable
- Manage containment activities (support stock checks & rework activities)
- Manage claims parts shipment & lead time to supplier manufacturing plants
- Register customer claims (0 km & Field) inside supplier systems & tools
- Follow supplier manufacturing plants investigation report due to date, negotiation extension if necessary
- report interim/final report to customers, get customer approval
- Manage claims invoices, negotiate costs cancellation/reduction, get cost acceptance from supplier manufacturing plants, or manage to write off
- Report all SQA activities, events, meetings, etc by monthly report
- Business trips within all Germany
Requirements:
- Secondary education with GCSE or apprenticeship
- Engineer or technician in the automotive sector in an advantage
- Minimum language skills: Intermediate German or English
- Advanced Computer skills
- Active B driving license
- Knowledge of quality control area
- Mechanical and electronic knowledge, ideally specialty in quality management
- Ability to work in 3 shifts mode
